Simple and first class ! In my opinion, can you try one with less shiny bolster, a light grey would make transition between blade and wood ?
I love effects on titanium liners.

Thank you.
Yes, in fact for my current project I'm using a bolster made of the same damascus used in the blade to achieve just that effect.  I'll post work in progress shots.

I'm normally not a fan of the American tanto, but that blade profile looks pretty sleek. I'm too used to seeing blocky things like Strider's tanto blades - think the only tantos I can stand are Emersons, though I am not fond of their chisel grinds.

Thanks, that means a lot especially given your position on Tanto blade geometry in general. Yeah, they're not for everyone.

Right now all of the knives are serving as gifts to elders. I hope to have some available for sale though in a couple years.

Thanks for your interest. I hope you're well!

Lovely piece. The folding technique is just exquisit.

The only remark i can make is that the picture is quit dark. Maybe an external lightsource or a less dark day would make it much much eyecandy. And maybe a change of focus. In the top picture you barely see the pattern thats on the handle and your blinded by the stainless steel.

Thank you for the feedback. You're right about the photo being dark. It's funny to spend so much time on a knife and then just really struggle to capture it in a photo! Your input is a great help, I've got quite a ways to go ^_^

VERY cool. I LOVE that filework pattern, and the anodized liners are neat looking.
The photo looks pretty good on this, but I'm guessing the day was pretty rainy. :) So it's a tiny bit dark overall. I would recommend shooting a wood as dark as that box elder against a lighter background with slightly more light. Also, when it's not wet, don't be afraid to flop flat when using a shooting surface that is at "floor" level for you. These are MUCH more "real" shots, and excellent progress.
No critique on the knife, because it's VERY nice and I don't see anything I feel doesn't work.
